Teray paas tera habai hay, jo nahin mila woh naseeb hay,

Brilliance of the yellow sun,
its rays reach down so deep.
Signaling that day has begun,
bring noonday shadow creep.

Tasty and tart this tuity fruity,
cool drink with lemon zest.
Pastel color baby bootie,
setting sun at day's rest.

Banana bunches up a tree,
ripening from green to yellow.
Smiley faces for you and me,
colorful yellow and mellow.

Yellow ribbons support our troops,
ducklings swim in the pond.
Lemon sherbert about two scoops,
twinkling star way beyond.

Corn on the cob farmer's crops,
yellow gold upon fingers,
Children listen as corn goes pop,
golden sunset lingers.

Smiles come in many sizes,
some are big some are small,
some people smile all day long,
then some never smile at all
              
When you get out of bed,
always let your day begin,
with a great big smiley face,
so put on that happy grin.
       
Don't look like s sour pus,
like the mean green Grinch,
just grab a smile put it on,
it's real easy it's a cinch.
       
Don't be like Mr Scrooge,
he frowned all day long,
put happiness on your face,
where that smile belongs.
       
Smiles can be contagious,
so pass them all around,
they can create such joy,
without making a sound.
       
So here's a big smiley face,
coming from my heart to you,
because it makes me happy,
to share my smiles with you.

Skip the flat stone across the pond,
see the ripples float away.
Watching the cat fish jump beyond.
cat of ninetails gently sway.

As dragonfly takes flight so fast,
frog upon the lilypad.
To sit and dream of summers past,
all the good times that we had.

To think the rainbow had an end,
with treasures to behold.
Childhood memories of best friend,
with my life yet to unfold.

So many sunsets come and go,
many lay ahead of me.
When we are young time goes slow,
invincible and carefree.

Like ripples spread in pond of past,
fledglings spread their wings.
Attain life's goals and be steadfast,
make the best of what life brings.
