Apparently, your role in No Entry is no longer what was narrated to you and the other heroines in the film—Bipasha Basu and Lara Dutta—are now being given more prominence. Are you disappointed?
This is absolute rubbish! I have started dubbing for the film and my role is exactly what was narrated to me. All of us have been given equal footage and importance in the film and I am really happy with the way my role has shaped up. The film is a laugh riot and everyone is very good in it. I had a great time shooting for it with Bipasha, Lara and Esha Deol because we got along really well. In fact, we are still in touch and meet whenever we can.

Former Miss India Celina Jaitley, who is in the spotlight following the release of her debut film Janasheen, opposite Fardeen Khan, is Channel [V]'s Goddess for September.

Star's music arm will be all eyes for the beauty with brains, who besides modelling, is said to have a strong marketing background.

She will be on Channel [V] on 10 September at 8:00 pm, dazzling the viewers in [V] Goddess Special, and having a whale of a time. That besides, she has a month-long appointment with viewers on shows like [V] Crush and Junglee Jukebox

WHEN FORMER beauty queen and budding actress Celina Jaitley says, of all people, Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi is her idol, you blink. Not because, Gandhiji should not be anybody's icon but as it somehow does not gel, is not it? Plain living, high thinking Gandhian ideology and here is this high flying, former Miss India-turned-actress often spotted on small screen these days dancing away wildly in skimpy outfits on beach side. But, please take her seriously for she has even painted the great man recently as a tribute. Revealing this rather unknown side of her was Celina at Channel V's Goddess Special programme early this week.

Well then, how is she celebrating this Gandhi Jayanti? But of course, the gorgeous face with a beautiful smile has no time to let herself switch off from work. By the way, she is reportedly just back from a shoot abroad.

Anyway, if you have missed the programme beamed last Sunday and Monday, but have fallen for her sultry, sensuous looks and boogies, here is more for facts' sake. She likes motor racing and still reads comics!

Feline aggression - from hissing and growling to swatting, scratching, and biting can be scary for onlookers!We are told that on her way from Dubai to Delhi, the airline, at the Dubai airport, left behind Celina Jaitly's bags.

The result?
This scintillating Celina had only her ***y J Lo track- suit (which she was wearing) and a store opening to attend in Sahranpur with Anil Kapoor and Akshaye Khanna. Starlet Mallika Sherawat was also flown down from Mumbai to attend the opening, and seemingly, got insecure of the ravishing Ms. Jaitly! While Celina was frantically searching for a boutique to pick up some designer wear for the event, Mallika, oblivious to the fact that Celina's luggage hadn't reached, is said to have made a bitchy remark to her in full view of the organisers saying, "In stead of wearing tracks and casuals, you should learn to dress like an actress and change your style of dressing!" Amusing and surprising, considering Celina is known in society circles for her impeccable and trendy sense and style of dressing. Ironical, considering the once unknown Haryanvi (Mallika, that is), was herself with full make-up clad in a hideous sequin top with jeans tucked inside her knee-high boots, all in the thick of 41 degrees!

We expected a war of words to erupt but are told that Celina kept her cool and dignity instead of reacting to the unnecessary anathema heaped on her. Needless to add, Celina was the cynosure of all eyes in Saharanpur! We're even told that because the chopper scheduled to return from Saharanpur to Delhi could not take off that night, the four film folk had to be accommodated in two rooms in a small motel. While Akshaye and Anil shared a room, Mallika and Celina had no choice but to share the other room! We're not aware of the fireworks that might have taken place within the four walls of the chamber, but if we ever get to the bottom of that or if the ladies ever speak openly about it in print, it'll make for another story by itself!

What can we say?
We can only laud Celina for maintaining a stoic silence in public view instead of raking up a murky war of words thanks to an insignificant and juvenile remark by a contemporary!
This is the same Mallika Sherawat nee Reema Lamba who initially denied our expose about her marriage several years back till another morning newspaper corroborated it with authentic quotes and pictures. Mallika's problems and unfounded starry airs with people, and particularly with women, makes for common news. Her problem with Emraan Hashmi and Ashmit Patel on the sets of Murder is common news. She even had a problem with Mahesh Bhatt after which she pursued him to resolve differences. Her next film Kis Kis Ki Kismat sank without a trace, and from what we hear, she didn't converse much with her co-star and newcomer, Siddharth Makkar either. The film she was supposed to do for Raj Kumar Santoshi is yet to take off, and in all likelihood, won't. Recently, director Anurag Bose (who gave her Murder), in an interview, mentioned that Mallika was charging too much, and would have to reduce her price to be able to make it in his next film. Reports of Mallika's problem with Rekha (or was it the other way round?) on the sets of her forthcoming Bach Ke Rehna Re also tumbled out of the closet.
We guess in the cat world aggression is a part of survival and Mallika 'exemplifies' that! For how long, we're not sure!

The audio of Khalid Mohamed's 'Silsiilay' (yes, that's the spelling courtesy numerology) is likely to be released by Venus at a glittering event this Tuesday.

The film, produced by Vashu Bhagnani, has exemplary music by Himesh Reshammiya; the best tracks being 'Tu Chandi' (picturised on Riya Sen, Natassha, Ashmit Patel & Jimmy Shergill), ‘Belibaas' (picturised on Celina Jaitly and K K), 'Mehmaan Ban Jaaiye' (picturised on Bhumika Chawla and Rahul Bose) & 'Meri Jaan Meri Jaan' (picturised on Tabu). Amitabh Bachchan will release the soundtrack.

Recently, at a shop opening in Saharanpur, a seemingly insecure Mallika Sherawat cattily told Celina Jaitly that she should learn to dress like an actress, in short, be better dressed in full view of the organizers. Celina was clad in a ***y J Lo tracksuit.

Mallika did not know that the airline had left Celina's bags in Dubai and the poor girl didn't have formal clothes to wear. In fact, she was looking for a boutique to shop for clothes. Celina chose to ignore Mallika's remark and maintained her dignity. Of course, onlookers were rather amused by Mallika's remarks on 'being dressed' and 'dressing well'!
