Thanks for the tip on tmux, I had started a test on my first disk earlier today, and now I just started simultaneous tests on the remaining 5 drives, so I'll run it for a bit and compare it to the speed on my initial test to see if there's any performance hit for parallel tests. S.M.A.R.T. tests are asynchronous, so you don't need it for them, but for badblocks, you do.
Edit: only 5% into the first pass, but the speed seems to be right on par with the first test, so that's nice. Glad I was able to get this started now, because my initial estimates of the test duration didn't take into account the fact that the readback pass occurs separately, or that the status bar only displays the status of the current pass, so it's looking like a little over 8 hours *per pass* on a 2TB WD Red, which is going to end up taking more than 24 hours for a complete 4-pass test. That's fine, since I'll be gone for the weekend, but again, REALLY glad you gave me the tip on tmux when you did, since that means I'll be able to have all 6 drives tested by the time I get back :)

I have been a house cleaner for my whole life and have tried a lot of types of gloves. I think it all depends on every person's preference and the job they have. I have always preferred nitrile gloves over latex gloves. I think the type of nitrile glove you choose should be based on your personal preference and not on what other say. I, for example, use thin nitrile gloves because they are lighter and they do the same job as the thicker ones. I have never had any nitrile gloves break, even if they are thin. It is still rubber, and it is very powerful and hard to tear.

?I've never understood people who pay real money for virtual things that don't make a profit. It's OK if you pay for a full-fledged game that brings you fun like GTA V, but this is completely different. Ideally you're supposed to have both roles at the same time (Lifetime is just an addition), but thanks to Frumpy Frumpy 's mishap earlier, when you rejoined it bugged you out of the standard VIP role. I just went and added separate permissions for Lifetime to the VIP voice channel as well in case of situations like this!

I agree, designing a bedroom is always hard. I can never do it alone, and I think I'll hire someone for it for my new bedroom as well. All I know is that the bed is always the centerpiece in a master bedroom. I like having the bed frame and bedding match ideally, and my style is usually on the more elegant and refined side. I love silk bedding, so I only buy mine from slipintosoft.comburgundy is my favorite color for bedding). I usually work around that with my interior designer, and I want to do that this time as well. That's tough, man... I also started drinking again, and I really don't know what to do. I came to this forum to ask for some advice. Should I go to rehab again? In nearly 50 years of working on/overhauling those engines, I have NEVER had one decked. It would require decking X amount from the surface and then the same amount in the counterbores. Any pitting on the deck surface I have had is handled with sealer on both sides of the head gasket , good torqueing of the head bolts and retorqueing after a short time when stone cold.

Oh that is a shame about Malaysia. I thought you had finalised your plans to go there.
I also think that even when these countries do open their borders, there will possibly be a lot of measures put in place that make ordination not possible, such as only being able to stay at certain designated hotels, having to have covid tests while there, having to quarantine on arrival, huge expenses to cover medical in case covid is contracted, etc.
